The Annual Hope You Can Cling To Card Parade

I'm back with the next batch of cards from the Hope You Can Cling to Challenges.  I'll be doing multiple posts over the coming days, so you'll be seeing a lot of pink cards!  I used some of the items from the prize I won in last year's HYCCT drawing.  I was lucky enough to receive some Hero Arts stamps, ink pads, embellishments, and a set of notecards and envelopes.  I actually cut the notecards in half and used the light coral, coral, and dark coral cardstock in many of my cards this year.  I thought it would be a good way to share my prize and make a whole bunch of cards for a great cause.

Tonight's first card is for HYCCT1210.  The challenge was to make a shaped card.  I made a little heart shaped card using my Nestabilities dies.

Supplies:
Stamps:  "Hero Arts "Love Every Day" and a tiny heart in Versamark all over the red heart which is really hard to see
Ink:  Versamark Onyx Black and Versamark

HYCCT1207 challenged us to use a musical element.  I used some musical dp as my background.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Verve "Believe"
Papers:  Hero Arts, dp from Echo Park "Victoria Garden"
Other:  Hero Arts pearls and Hero Arts Art Flowers
Card size:  A2

Challenge HYCCT1205 was to make a card that would inspire strength and courage.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Verve "Blue Skies"
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Papers:  Hero Arts, white
Other:  Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions "Vintage Wallpaper" embossing folder, Cuttlebug embossing folder "Musical Flourish," Hero Arts Art Flowers and pearl, sanding block
Card size:  A2

In challenge HYCCT1206 we were to use at least 3 dies and a sentiment.  I decided to make another cupcake birthday card.  This cupcake is so quick and fun to color!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Verve "Carpe Cupcake" image and Verve "Birthday Bash" sentiment
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black and Versafine Onyx Black
Papers:  Hero Arts, white cardstock
Other:  Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stickles Crystal glitter, Nestabilities circle and petite scalloped circle dies, Copic markers
Size:  A2

The challenge for HYCCT1201B was to create a card for a child.  I decided to make a fairy card for a little girl.

I used this layout from Sketchy Challenges (#33) for my card.

Stamps:  Lizzy Anne Designs "Fairy" and "Fairy Saying"
Papers:  Hero Arts, white cardstock
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black
Other:  Copic markers, Hero Arts Art Flowers, pearl, Nestabilities circle and petite scalloped circle dies, Stickles Crystal glitter
Card size:  A2

Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,
Sarah
