I had a hard time photographing this card and getting the colors to be "true." There's a little bit of a glare on the prayer panel, but this was the best I could do tonight.
The card is 6" square. The base is kraft cardstock, then there is a 5 7/8" square of black cardstock. The dp strips are cut at 1 3/8". I sponged Vintage Photo and Tea Dye Distress Ink on the edges of the oval while it was still in the Nestie die. I used a labels die as I thought it would kind of look like a cross behind the prayer. I really like the alternating light and dark areas of the dp and the gradations of color as I think it fits with the essence of the prayer.
I used a bunch of different flowers all from Michael's and some black brads in the corners. The punched border is by MS, and I think it is called Layered Arches.
We're in the midst of a 90 day prayer challenge at my church, and I'm going to keep this card sitting out for a while as a reminder for myself. Thanks for stopping by tonight!
Blessings!
Sarah
