SNTODBD22 Be Still

Challenge 22 for Stamping in Time at ODBD is quilts.

I used paper by Basic Grey as the design in it reminded me of the double wedding ring quilt pattern.  And no, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you.  The paper is a bit variegated and progresses from a more turquoise color to a more purplish blue from left to right, kind of like batik fabrics.  I kept the layout pretty simple so that I didn't cover up too much of the paper.  The sentiment is from ODBD's set "Scripture Collection 3."  I zigzagged around the edges and distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing tool.

I also have a couple of close ups for you.  The bow is May Arts ribbon tied with a Bow Easy, then there's a button with twine tied on top of it, and a little rose to top the whole thing off.

The biggest flower is a Prima I found at Archiver's, and the little roses are by Recollections that I purchased at Michael's.  The leaves are a MS leaf punch.

Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,
Sarah
